Sunday = Mark of the Beast — Seventh-day Adventists Debunked

SDA claims Sunday worship will become the eschatological Mark of the Beast — no Scripture supports this.

Revelation 13:16-17 describes the Mark of the Beast on the 'right hand or forehead' — it says nothing about a day of worship. SDA's claim that the papacy will enforce Sunday worship as the mark has no basis in Revelation's text. While Sabbath observance is biblical and important, making Sunday worship the 'mark' introduces a doctrinal claim that goes beyond Scripture. Early believers met on both Sabbath and the first day of the week (Acts 20:7), and Paul says not to judge regarding Sabbaths (Colossians 2:16).

Verdict: The Mark of the Beast is not about a day of worship — that interpretation is extrabiblical.
