God the Mother Heresy — WMSCOG Debunked

WMSCOG invents a female deity from Galatians 4:26 — Paul was using an allegory, not introducing a goddess.

Galatians 4:24-26 says 'these things are an allegory' (Paul's own words). The 'Jerusalem above' represents the new covenant community — not a literal female deity. Paul explicitly frames the passage as symbolic: Hagar = old covenant/earthly Jerusalem, Sarah = new covenant/heavenly Jerusalem. Deuteronomy 6:4 declares 'The LORD our God, the LORD is One.' Isaiah 44:6: 'I am the first and I am the last; besides me there is no god.' No Hebrew Scripture, no apostolic writing, and no early Church document mentions a 'God the Mother.'

Verdict: Paul says it's an allegory — WMSCOG ignores the author's own interpretation.
